In response to society becoming increasingly information-oriented, it is the aim of all types of schools to foster the ability to use information through the active application of information and information resources.

The Board is making strong efforts to set up personal computers and to use the Internet in education. Charts 5 and 6 illustrate the number of students per computer in schools and the percentage of schools which have set up a web site.
