やきもの散歩道

やきもの散歩道は、中心市街地の小高い丘にある人気の観光スポット。レンガ造りの煙突や窯、黒塀の工場、陶器の廃材利用の坂道など、ノスタルジックな雰囲気と歴史を伝える空間が広がります。

Pottery Footpath
Nostalgic brick chimneys,a climbing kiln, a factory surrounded by a black wooden fence, and Dokanzaka, with its piles of clay pipes and shochu bottles from days gone by, create a unique atmosphere.　　　　　

半田運河

半田では、古くから酢や酒などの醸造業が盛んであり、半田運河から廻船で江戸などに運ばれていました。半田運河と醸造蔵の情景は、江戸で絶賛された「尾州半田の酢」を送り出した往時の面影を今に伝えています。

Handa Canal
Handa has a long, flourishing brewing industry, with vinegar, sake, and other brewed products being transported down the Handa Canal by cargo vessels on their way to Edo. The scenery of Handa Canal and the brewery storehouses still evokes the image of those days, when they sent out into the world the "Vinegar of Bishu Handa", a highly prized commodity in Edo.

日間賀島

日間賀島には、恋人ブランコ、タコのモニュメント、島自慢のふぐなど、フォトジェニックポイントがたくさんあります。自転車をレンタルして島を一周するのもオススメです。

Himakajima
Himakajima is packed with photogenic spots, such as the Lovers' Swing and motifs of octopus and pufferfish. Renting a bicycle to ride around the island is a popular activity.
