Aichi Prefecture requested respective municipalities to arrange “Self-study Classroom "while elementary schools are closed.
What is "Self-study Classroom"?
- It is a classroom for children to attend school at usual time if their parents wish to send them to school.
- This classroom takes measures to prevent the virus.
- Children who attend "Self-study Classroom" must study on their own.
- Children who attend "Self-study Classroom" need to bring their own lunch. (School lunch is not available.)

Students in 1st - 6th grade
The period of "Self-study Classroom"
From March 2nd untill the spring break starts
There was a message from the governor of Aichi Prefecture about elementary school closure.
- He requested repective municipalities to close elementary and junior high schools in Aichi Prefecture from March 2nd until the spring break starts.
- He requested municipalities to arrange "Self-study Classroom" (For children who wish to attend this class at usual time.) in elementary schools so that parents are able to go to work without any concern.
- He requested respective municipalities to take measures against virus upon arrangement of these classes.
- "Self-study Classroom" is arranged for children to be able to study without worries and to reduce parents' burden.
