For persons with disabilities
Discount Programs
Various discount programs are available for persons with disabilities and their attendants (one per visitor). For details, see the “Support programs for persons with disabilities” section under “Visitor Information”
Parking
Parking spaces for persons with disabilities, the elderly, those who are sick or wounded, pregnant women, and nursing mothers are available in Parking Lots No. 1 and No. 2, and there are Priority Parking spots in front of the Main Gallery. Thank you in advance for understanding that persons listed here have priority in using these designated parking spaces.
For wheelchair users
Wheelchairs are available for rent in the Main Gallery, the Design Aichi Gallery (formerly “Minami-kan”), and the Ceramic Craft Studio. Elevated seat cushions to help wheelchair users view exhibits in the display cases are also available. Please ask staff at the reception desk.
The Main Gallery has an elevator for wheelchair users.
Accessible restrooms are available on each floor of the Main Gallery, at the Design Aichi Gallery (formerly “Minami-kan”), and the Ceramic Craft Studio.
For hearing-impaired persons
Please contact the reception desk at the Main Gallery and the Design Aichi Gallery if you would prefer to communicate in writing
For adults with small children
Strollers for babies are available for rent at the Main Gallery, the Design Aichi Gallery (formerly “Minami-kan”), and the Ceramic Craft Studio. Please ask staff at the reception desk.
Diaper-changing tables are available in each restroom.
A room for nursing mothers is available in the Main Gallery. To use these facilities, please ask staff at the reception desk.
